Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet
We, as members in good standing of the River Valley Chamber of Commerce need to come up with businesses and individuals that we feel are worthy of receiving the following awards presented at the Annual Dinner in April. Attached you will find the criteria and a nomination form in which you can fill out and return to the Chamber office no later than March 1, 2010. Take a look around at your business peers and individuals in the River Valley Area whom you feel should receive these prestigious awards and nominate them today. The River Valley Chamber Board of Directors will review all nominees at the March board meeting and make the selections.
Please also think about becoming a Board of Director for the Chamber. If you are ambitious and concerned about the business climate in the River Valley Area and want to make a difference then you are perfect for the board. The Board of Directors for the Chamber meets once a month; the second Tuesday of the month to discuss matters at hand pertaining to the Chamber. Interested? If so, attached is also a nomination form to become a director that you can fill out and return to the Chamber no later than April 5th. Your name will be put onto a ballot and the general membership will vote at the Annual Dinner. There are currently six (6) directorships that are up for grabs this year. If you would like more information on the responsibilities of a director you can call Cheryl at 369-9008 or Laurieann at 364-5022 and they would be happy to explain everything to you.
